Every year, 3.5 million people are disabled by on-the-job injuries. Another 5,000 lose their lives. It's the families and, in particular, the children who are many times forgotten when these losses occur.

Kids' Chance provides an opportunity for these children to pursue their education, reach their goals, and fulfill their dreams for the future.

Who Can Kids' Chance of Maryland Help?

  • The 16 year-old Maryland boy who had to drop out of high school to take a job at minimum wage to help put food on the family table after his father is killed in a work-related accident

  • The 18-year old Maryland girl whose parent was seriously injured on the job, who now wishes to attend vocational/technical school to learn a trade.

  • The Maryland college student who now has no funds to continue their education due to a parent being catastrophically injured in a work-related accident.
